Adding Your First Property
This guide walks you through creating your first property project and adding units to it.
Understanding the Structure​
PropertyBase uses a hierarchical structure for properties:
Project (e.g., "Sunset Villas")
├── Unit (e.g., "Villa A - 3BR")
├── Unit (e.g., "Villa B - 4BR")
└── Unit (e.g., "Villa C - 5BR")
Projects are the parent container (developments, buildings, communities), while Units are the individual properties for sale or rent.
Creating a Project​
Step 1: Navigate to Properties​
- Click Properties in the sidebar
- Click the + New Project button
Step 2: Basic Information​
Fill in the essential details:

Step 3: Description​
Write a compelling description or use AI Generate to create one automatically:
Click the "AI Generate" button to create a professional
property description based on your project details.
Step 4: Media​
Upload visual content:
- Cover Image - Main image shown in listings
- Gallery - Additional photos
- Floor Plans - PDF or image files
- Virtual Tour - Matterport or similar links
Step 5: Pricing & Financial​
Configure pricing options:
- Currency - Primary currency for this project
- Price Range - Starting and maximum prices
- Commission - Default commission structure
Adding Units​
Once your project is created, add individual units:
Step 1: Open the Project​
Click on your project to open its detail page.
Step 2: Add a Unit​
- Click + Add Unit in the Units section
- Fill in unit details:

Step 3: Configure Visibility​
Set who can see this unit:
- Public - Visible on public listings
- Agents Only - Only visible to your agents
- Private - Only visible to admins
Bulk Import​
Have multiple units to add? Use our bulk import feature:
- Go to Properties > Import
- Download the CSV template
- Fill in your data
- Upload the completed CSV
- Review and confirm the import

Best Practices​
Property Photos
- Use high-quality images (minimum 1920x1080)
- Include exterior, interior, and amenity shots
- Optimize file sizes for faster loading
Descriptions
- Highlight unique features and selling points
- Include nearby amenities and attractions
- Mention investment potential if applicable
